If you like Firefox, the great internet client that’s surmounted its Microsoft competitor in the department of ease and convenience, I’m
sure you’ve always wanted to be able to minimize your session in the
system tray – freeing up your task bar for other applications.. Well,
you now can, using the neat MinimizeToTray extension that does just
that.
As I’ve said in the past, Firefox extensions are neat appletss that
improve your web experience, giving you the ability to
hone the browser – its use and look, primarily – to your
browsing tastes. Aside from the modifiable options coming with the
browser, Firefox extensions give to the experience, with thousands of
distinct extensions that do a lot from tracking mail to collecting passwords.
This extension allows you to minimize the browser in the System Tray.
This version works with Firefox 3.0 – 3.5
After you’ve installed the extension, you’re given three ways to minimize the browser to the System Tray.
Using the first option, you can access the

If you are a frequent flyer who’d like to be able to bring your laptop
aboard a flight and browse the web, WIFI is now being given by
American Airlines, implemented on all of its MD-80 aircraft – with
a roll out of the WIFI service planned for additional fleets soon. They have even created an easily accessible – by PC or phone –
online widget that will let you know if your upcoming flight is WIFI
enabled. This tool answers queries that are 24 hours before departure,
leaving you unable to determine if a flight booked a month or so out
will be internet accessible.
This is certainly a step in the right direction, as we become a
wireless world, and we only hope that it points towards all airlines
adopting the same forward-thinking business model.

To those using Facebook, the successful social networking website, it has been
told that the site has offered a new addition to its programs that may raise the interests of users who spend a good amount of time
uploading pictures. At its core, Facebook is a social networking tool,
allowing people the world over to connect and establish new
bonds while rediscovering old ones. Part of the experience –
for those who aren’t shy – is sending the photos that reveal the life
they lead outside of the Facebook community.
A fresh photo uploader utility is now included within their Prototypes
directory, the beta collection where new features are tested before
being unveiled to the general people. Introducing a considerable
improvement in the process of uploading photos, which has always drawn
complaints for its decidedly buggy and difficult nature, this improvement will surely come as good news to the millions of Facebook users who
send almost 2 billion photos a month to their accounts.

If you have ever needed a utility included in the Windows Operating
System, you know the jumps required to even get the folder within
which it’s stored. If you are laboring under the fatigue of having to take an
unnecessary number of steps to make your way to these tools, we have an
app that offers fast access without the hassle you’re used to.
Before moving on, we should note that this will need the
use of .NET Framework 3.5. Near the end of this article, you’ll
see a link to it.
Needing no installation, all you have to do is unzip the
executable, put it within the “Program Files” folder and give it a
shortcut.
Once you have finished the short task of setting it up, you can begin the Windows Utilities Launcher, where you are shown instant access to
the utilities you’d otherwise have to suffer needless clicking to
locate. Inspecting the “Utilities” tab, users will see all the typical helpers – Computer, Device, Disk, Performance, Display, Services, Task,
System, Add/Remove, etc.

Budget-priced netbooks are all the rave. Offering much of the same
functionality that your standard laptop delivers, at a significantly
less expense to your bank account, netbooks are compact mini-laptops
that provide the convenient portability many of us demand in this time
in these rapidly moving times.
While they’re bereft of certain features we see in the usual laptop – a DVD drive, for instance – they’re wifi-enabled and great for library-bound students or employees who need only access to the
internet.
The Android-enabled EeasyPC E790 was just shown, arriving with a
price that will place on a smile on those hunkering down in these
demanding recessionary times. Coming from Menq, a China-stationed company, this
netbook is pricing at $89. It’s coming with a 7-inch screen, 400Mhz
Arm9 processor, and 128MB of ram ( more than enough to run Adroid ).
Geek Choice will try to keep you updated about the latest info in the world of computers.

Microsoft just made the follow-up to the commonly used Microsoft
Office 2007, Office 2010, available for public consumption. Made for the 32
bit and 64 bit systems, this new system is destined to become the
standard once it moves on to its final juncture.
To download the beta, you must be subscribed to MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) or TechNet.
Be advised that it is not recommended to access the beta across P2P
networks, with obvious concerns about using such services for the

Have you found yourself on a website you only rarely browse for a
specific purpose, yet you can't recall just what that is? Ever
maintain perpetual dialogues on your favorite message forum, wishing
there was a means of jotting your thoughts down? If you’re a user who’s
slightly absent-minded, needing the occasional reminder for something critical, we have a cool Firefox app that you will put to good
use.
Called Internote, this app enables a user to place sticky notes
– yes, they look just like the stickies any office dweller is
familiar with – on any website page they’re on. Even better, the
sticky notes will stay there until removed, sticking around for the
user’s next visit.
After the extension has been installed, the status bar will see the
addition of a small yellow icon. If you’re so inclined, you can make
the icon larger. Simply clicking the icon once will generate a new
sticky note. Placement of each note is up to you, with no limit on the
number of stickies you wish to apply.

A TS file, here it means a transport stream video format based on MPEG-2 part One, rather than a DVD folder with Video_TS and Audio_TS in it.
TS is used in broadcast applications such as DVB and ATSC. Having the ability of multiplexing digital video and audio and synchronizing the output, TS also offers the features for error correction for transportation over unreliable media.
Put those terms aside, how to convert TS to DVD for playback on DVD players is a big problem for many DVD lovers. Because TS--the HD video format is not supported by many DVD Creators that a TS-to-MP4/AVI conversion is needed before burning TS video to DVD. Here we show you the weay to burn TS video to DVD.
Step 1: Play TS files on PC
The easiest solution is VLC player which you can find and free download from the internet. VLC player can play MPEG-2 video content and supports opening and playing TS files directly.
Step 2: Download Aimersoft DVD Creator and install it
Meanwhile, you can insert DVD -R (DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW,

Google Translate allows users to immediately translate text and web pages into their own language. Not far from off from other services included in its stable of innovative products,
Google Translate gives a convenient and easy-to-use tool that
testifies to the pioneering impact of Google on our use of the internet.
Serving almost 99% of internet users around the globe, Google Translate is
available in 51 languages.
Looking past cosmetic changes, which have resulted in a crisper appearance than we last saw, Google has instituted new features
that are created to make use of this service even more slick and
intuitive.
Those additions are:
Translate Instantly: Getting rid of the old
“Translate” button, Google Translate will not instantly translate your words, showing updating the translates right as you type.
Read and write any language: When translating
certain languages, it’s difficult to glean the phonetic subtleties that

Being the most used video site on the web, housing content

As anyone is aware of, a good portion of those on the internet act in
ways that some might find objectionable, using profane language and

A lot of computers are shared by many users, be it a family or an office brimming with workers. If you are granted administrative
privileges, provided the computer is your property, Windows 7 gives you the ability to decide just what programs can be accessed by
the users of that computer with the use of AppLocker.
There could be a program that only one or two users in your
office are authorized to use, or you could be a guardian who wants to
restrict the use of games by children doing their lessons.
You have to be logged in as an administrator to use AppLocker. First,
click on the start menu, which will take you to search field. In that
field, you will enter: gpedit.msc and press Enter.
Viewing the “Local Computer Policy” tree, you should go to:
Computer Configuration\Windows Setting\Security Settings\Application
Control Policies\AppLocker
Once you’ve chosen that, you will notice the controls for the applications, which is where you’ll start setting those privileges.

Firefox is a favorite browser of mine, particularly because of the
extensions. These are applets that improve upon your browsing
experience, altering Firefox so that your management of the
stuff you’re viewing is simpler and less stressful. Many of the
extensions afford you the ability to group information in a more
efficient manner (as many of you might have known, one such extension
sorts multiple pages of photographs into a single scrollable page),
while other apps allow the extraction of information gleaned from the page
you’re viewing.
One such extension we’ll hit upon is Web2PDF, a cool tool that
allows you to change any website you’re viewing into a PDF format.
This is especially convenient if you’re looking to distribute the
information taken from that particular website to multiple friends.
With Web2PDF, all one need do is convert the page to PDF format and
distribute it accordingly.
Once the extension has been installed, you’ll have to ability to
begin converting those page. Looking

Digital distribution of media is a nascent, but fast growing,
model for the delivery of multi-media. While the content has music,
the central aim of this streaming model is the movies, which include
television shows.
Clicker, a startup primed on becoming the most sought after search
engine of television shows on the internet, has opened its doors to the
public. Restricted to a private beta for little over two months, the site has become public, enabling users to sate their appetite for queries of
that sort.
After debuting, the site has enjoyed 33% more content added to its
current catalog of nearly 400,000 full-length shows. The site’s content
is culled from over 7,000 shows, spanning 1200 sources of content
across the web.
The site continues to improve upon its feature set, recently adding
filters that enable users to pare down their search to episode
descriptions of a specific show. They’ve also added a “related search”
feature, which suggests shows that may be tailored to the

Now that Google’s search engine is the most popular of its kind, it’s common that your child may put it to use. Whether it’s a search
for the latest video game tips or rumors about their favorite teen actor, there’s plenty of innocent content that’s available for them to
search for. However, as powerful as Google’s search engine is, the
chance of them stumbling upon content of a questionable nature – porn, most frequently – can be high.
To prevent this, Google has always allowed its users to filter the
returns of their searches, blocking content that is deemed
inappropriate. As helpful as that feature has been, the ability to lock
those settings has never been available until just this moment.
Today, Google unveiled a feature that gives one the power to lock the
SafeSearch setting to the strictest level of filtering. To prevent a
minor from changing that setting, it will be password secured, with
only the parent having that ability to change the setting. As well, the results generated by any

MTS and M2TS are high-definition MPEG, AVC, h.264 transport stream video file format. Being a digital container format for multiplexing audio, video and other streams, MTS and M2TS are commonly used by HD camcorders like Sony, Canon and Panasonic in the form of AVCHD.
These files are also present on Blu-ray disc compilations, therefore they are capable of storing quite a large amount of information and data tracks.
