On Friday’s live Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah tearfully announced she has decided to end the show in September 2011. The Queen of Talk says she feels it is time to say goodbye to the show.“After much prayer and careful thought, I decided that next season, season 25 will be the last season. I love this show…This show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye,” Winfrey told her audience.“These years with you, our viewers, have enriched my life beyond all measure,” she added. “We've grown together. You've raised your families, had your children. And left a spot for me in the mornings or the afternoons. … I want you all to know my relationship with you is one that I hold very dear.”Winfrey’s next venture is her own cable channel, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were careful not to fuel any romance rumors at the Cinema Society and D and G screening of New Moon Thursday night in NYC. The pair avoided coming in contact on the red carpet with Stewart arriving 20 minutes after Pattinson. New Moon, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, broke box office records its opening night. The highly anticipated Twilight sequel broke all records for midnight showings, earning an estimated $26.3 million. The last film to set the record last was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, which made $22.2 million for its midnight runs.New Moon also ran up the biggest advance ticket sales of any film in history.Though New Moon received bad reviews from critics, forecasters believe the film could pull in as much as $100 million its opening weekend.Those who never saw Twilight were given a chance to catch up as 2,057 theaters re-released the film Thursday night. Hours after reports surfaced one of Miley Cyrus’ tour buses was involved in a deadly crash, the Hannah Montana star and her family offered condolences to the family of the victim.Bus driver Bill Douglas was driving one of four buses on Interstate 85 outside of Richmond, Virginia early Friday morning when it overturned. Douglas, 53, died at the scene. The nine passengers on the bus were not harmed.“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill ‘Uncle Bill’ Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed,” read a statement on Cyrus’ website.The cause of the accident is not known. TLC has confirmed Kate Gosselin has a new TV series.A spokesperson for the network said Thursday that Kate’s new show will launch in the spring of 2010.Earlier this year TLC announced that Jon and Kate Plus 8, the reality show Kate shared with estranged husband Jon Gosselin, would be retitled Kate Plus 8 as Jon would no longer be appearing on the show. Jon halted production with a cease and desist order that banned TLC film crews from entering the Pennsylvania home he owns with Kate. TLC was eventually forced to end the show. They are now suing Jon, 32, for breach of contract.TLC now denies Kate’s show is ‘Kate Plus 8.’ “Kate Plus 8 is not in production. We are focusing on the launch of Kate's new series in early spring,” said a network spokesperson.It is unclear if Jon and Kate's 8 children will be featured on the show.
