Wynonna Judd is not happy Taylor Swift on the CMA Awards top honor, Entertainer of the Year. The country singer said Swift, 19, didn’t work for the award and is too young to be honored in that way.“You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon. Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon,” she said. “My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time ... 'cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. Jimmy Dickens pulled a “Kanye West” on Brad Paisley last night at the Country Music Association Awards. In a spoof on West’s now-infamous stage-crashing at the MTV VMAs earlier this year when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, Dickens stormed the stage and interrupted Paisley.“I just gotta say, ‘Welcome to the Future’ was probably one of my favorite videos in a long time,” Underwood told Paisley.Before Paisley could responded, 88-year-old Dickens cut him off and launched into a Kanye-like tirade. “Excuse me, sir. Taylor Swift swept the CMAs last night, collecting four awards including the biggest honor – Entertainer of the Year.The 19-year-old became the youngest-ever winner and the first solo female artist to win the award since Faith Hill won in 2000. Steven Tyler is not leaving Aerosmith. Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry apparently worked through their differences only days after Perry said Tyler had quit the band.Tyler and Perry made a surprise appear onstage at the Fillmore in New York Tuesday night and assured fans Tyler is not leaving. “I just want New York to know I’m not leaving Aerosmith,” Tyler told the audience.Reports of Tyler quitting surfaced this week after Perry spoke to the Las Vegas Sun. “Steven quit as far as I can tell. Steven Tyler has reportedly left his band Aerosmith. Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry tells the Las Vegas Sun that Tyler, 61, has quit, but he insists he has no other details.“Steven quit as far as I can tell. I don’t know any more than you do about it. I don’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band canceled Monday night’s concert in Kansas City, Missouri due to the death of Lenny Sullivan, Springsteen’s cousin and the band’s assistant road manager.Sullivan was found dead in his hotel room at Kansas City’s Intercontinental Hotel just 3 hours before the band was set to perform. He was 36.Kansas City police are investigating his death but do not suspect foul play. No other details about Sullivan’s death were available.Springsteen and the E Street Band released a statement on their web site saying, “A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family. Garth Brooks announced Thursday he is coming out of retirement after a 9 year hiatus. The country singer made the announcement this morning in a press conference at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.“We’re going to take the retirement roof off over out head, and I already feel taller,” he said.Brooks, who is married to country singer Trisha Yearwood, didn’t give the exact date he will take the stage again.The 47-year-old retired in 2000 in order to spend time with his three daughters. In 2007, Brooks surpassed Elvis Presley to become the top-selling solo artist in United States history.Though Brooks is looking forward to performing again, he insists there are no plans to tour. “As for touring, if I can't eat it, sleep it, breathe it, then it ain't me. New York rapper Shyne is set to be released from prison today after serving a 10 year sentence. Shyne, who converted to Judaism in prison and changed his name to Moses Levi, will serve 2 years probation upon his release.Levi, 30, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in June 2001 for a shooting in 1999 that involved rapper P. Diddy and Jennifer Lopez. The shooting happened outside a Manhattan club and left 3 people injured. At the time, Shyne’s self-titled debut album was pending release. He managed to release the album in September 2000 and his second album, Godfather Buried Alive, in 2004. Mr. Magic, a New York DJ who was a key figure in helping bring hip hop into the mainstream, has died. Magic, whose real name is John Rivas, died Friday morning of a heart attack. No other details, including his age, were available.Rivas began hosting the first all hip-hop radio show called ‘Rap Attack’ in New York in 1983. Mary Travers of the popular 60s band Peter, Paul and Mary has died. The singer passed away Wednesday in a Connecticut hospital after a long battle with leukemia. Rock and Roll songwriter Ellie Greenwich has died. Greenwich, who helped shape pop music in the ‘60s, died of a heart attack Wednesday at a New York hospital, where she was being treated for pneumonia. She was 68. Greenwich co-write classics such as Be My Baby, Chapel Of Love, River Deep, Mountain High and Maybe I Know. She worked with many artists including the Crystals, the Ronettes and Neil Diamond. Greenwich was inducted in to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1991. She helped create the Broadway production Leader of the Pack, a show about her life in the music industry, in 1985.
