Over the last couple of weeks you have more or less been along for the ride as I’ve questioned and challenged Christianity and well, spirituality for that matter, to no avail. This week, REALITY, hit me in a place no man can touch. Instead of finding spirituality, I found myself feeling just as helpless as the day I was born. Enough of the flowery exposition, let’s get to the post! On Monday, the apple of my eye, the Oreo in my blizzard, my baby girl Nia woke up with a fever of 102 and was very much NOT herself. As it was the first day of school, my other half couldn’t take off, so guess who got to take her to the doctor. I set an emergency appointment, thinking the classification was overkill, but I really didn’t want to wait at home with a sick child until noon. So we made it to the doctor’s office only to discover that our doctor is running an hour and a half behind. Luckily, there was another doctor available to see us.
