Elisabetta Canalis Booted From Dancing With The Stars

Dancing with the Star said goodbye to another contestant Tuesday night and the unlucky star turned out to be Italian TV personality Elisabetta Canalis. Canalis found herself in the bottom three with Chaz Bono and David Arquette. She earned 21 points for her quickstep Monday night while Arquette and Bono landed at the bottom of the scoreboard with 18 and 17 points respectively.Canalis’ pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy said he realized it came down to a lack of fan base for Canalis, who is best known in the US as the ex-girlfriend of George Clooney. “There were huge challenges for her. We're a proud nation. We're a welcoming nation, but [Americans] have our own idols and our own fan base. This show is about people who have huge fan bases. Weight Watchers Honors Jennifer Hudson With Chicago Weight Loss Center

Weight Watchers opened a weight loss center in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago Tuesday to honor celebrity spokeswoman Jennifer Hudson, who has credited the program with helping her lose 80 lbs. The center will donate a portion of its revenue to the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, which is named for Hudson’s nephew who was murdered in October 2008. The foundation helps provide stability to children."This new Center honors Jennifer's commitment, and we hope, demonstrates how dedicated we are to her as our partner. Charlie Sheen’s massive lawsuit against Warner Bros. Television and ‘Two and a Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre has been settled to all parties “mutual satisfaction,” Warner Bros. announced Monday. The studio said the terms of the settlement will remain private."Warner Bros. Television, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen have resolved their dispute to the parties' mutual satisfaction. The pending lawsuit and arbitration will be dismissed as to all parties. After being removed from a flight for too much PDA with her girlfriend, actress Leisha Hailey accused Southwest Airlines of targeting her because of her sexuality. She also criticized the airline for hiring “homophobic employees."According to reports, flight attendants had the 40-year-old ‘L Word’ actress and her girlfriend of 5 years, fashion designer Nina Garduno, removed after other passengers complained about their excessive kissing. Actress Frances Bay Dies At 92

Canadian actress Frances Bay, who was dubbed "Hollywood's Grandma” for her numerous grandmother roles, has died. The New York Times reports Bay passed away Thursday in Los Angeles at the age of 92. Bay’s family said she died of complications from pneumonia.Bay began her entertainment career in the 40s as a radio actress and host of the CBC radio show Everybody’s Program. She left show business to marry, but returned in the late 70s when her husband’s job required them to move to Los Angeles.Bay landed her first film role in the 1978 Goldie Hawn comedy “Foul Play.” She went on to star in more than 150 films and TV shows. Her most notable TV role was perhaps the woman who battled Jerry Seinfeld for a loaf of marble rye in a 1996 episode of Seinfeld. Matthew Fox Hit With $25,000 Lawsuit Over Party Bus Incident

Matthew Fox has been slapped with a $25,000 lawsuit from the Ohio bus driver he allegedly attacked on August 28. Heather Bormann is seeking damages for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.Bormann’s lawsuit claims she was blocking Fox from entering a party bus that was already occupied when he suddenly began attacking her “with his fists, delivering sudden and severe blows to her right breast, groin, arm and legs, inflicting severe, disabling injury.” The 29-year-old says she suffered severe injuries to her hand and fingers when she fought back, punching Fox in the face and giving him a bloody lip.Fox, who was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident, was detained by Cleveland police, but was not arrested or charged. January Jones became a mom this week. The Mad Men actress gave birth to a baby boy named Xander Dane Jones on Tuesday, September 13, her rep confirms. The baby is the first child for Jones.“Mom and baby are doing great,” her rep adds.The 33-year-old announced her pregnancy in April, but did not identify the baby’s father.
