Jessica Simpson says she is in no hurry to shed her pregnancy pounds. The singer, who gave birth to daughter Maxwell on May 1, was said be feeling “stressed and overwhelmed” about her weight loss deal with Weight Watchers, but on Wednesday she took to Twitter to deny the reports.
"Just so everyone knows . . . Weight Watchers hasn't put ANY pressure on me! I'm trying to be as healthy as I can be for myself and I feel great,” she wrote.
Weight Watchers confirmed their partnership with Simpson in late May. "From the point when we started speaking with Jessica before she became pregnant, to now when she's had baby Maxwell, Jessica has made clear her commitment to establishing a healthier lifestyle for herself and her family. We look forward to supporting Jessica as she embarks on this next chapter in her life,” the company said.
Maxwell is Simpson’s first child with fiancé Eric Johnson.
