Snoop Dogg had a minor run-in with customs officials at Kjevik Airport in Kristiansand, Norway on Thursday after drug dogs detected marijuana in his luggage. A search of his bags uncovered 8 grams of pot and a large amount of cash that exceeded legal limits.

In Norway, possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana carries a maximum fine of $827. The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was forced to pay a total of $8, 600 for both violations. Authorities said Broadus, 40, was cooperative.

Broadus is in Norway to perform at the Hove Festival. He refused to speak about his stop in the airport with reporters and his rep has not released a statement.

Broadus has been arrested numerous times for drug possession. His most recent arrest was on January 7 in Texas. A small amount of marijuana was found on his tour bus.
