QLogic Corp. (Nasdaq:QLGC) today announced an agreement with SGI (Nasdaq:SGI), a global leader in HPC and data center solutions, for highly scalable quad data rate (QDR) InfiniBand(R) switches and directors targeted at the high performance computing (HPC) market. Under the terms of the agreement, SGI will resell QLogic's entire portfolio of 12000 Series 40Gb/s QDR InfiniBand switches and directors as part of its CloudRack(TM) and Rackable(TM) HPC servers and clusters.
