Hi! I am Bonnie Zaiss! Today I'm going to
show you how to make a custom wedding card, using rubber stamps for art and the
photographs of a loving couple. See how to make a wedding card at home, rather
than buying one at the store.
Creating
a custom wedding card
The bride and groom's photograph may be the
focal point of this colorful wedding card, but the stamps for art make this
personal card really unique!

Supplies
for making wedding cards
Here is what you need.
A couple of fun rubber stamps, we are
using a small heart, a large rose and
some text. Make sure one of them is large enough for a special fold we're going
to do. Some colorful cardstock paper, jewelry tones are great. You can use
whatever you want, white and pastels work well too. A variety of color pencils,
markers and felt and gel pens. Glue to add
your photograph or try an image too. you can find some on the Internet
or bridal magazines are a great resource.
Lastly, cleaning products for the rubber
stamp. paper towels and baby wipes work great!

Introductions
for making the wedding card
Now, I'm going to cut out the size, any
size will do. This cut is six by twelve, and will have a special center fold.
After you cut the centerfold in this card, find the center point of this card,
fold the each side into the middle of the card, using the back of your nail to
make a sharp press on both sides.
Now use a glue stick on the back of the
image or photograph and press firmly,
then we'll take one of the smaller stamps and add a stamp to the inside of the
card. Be sure to clean the stamps when you have done, a baby wipes and paper
towels work great.
Now I'm going to fold the card together,
and take a large rubber-stamp, using a rose and
black ink and stamp the outside of the closed card. You can add another
stamp with a script also if you like. the impression of larger rose is on the
light sight, so I'm going to have some fun, adding some details. It's a
coloring book for grown-ups.
Customizing
the wedding card
Now, take out all your color pencils and
pens and be creative! Start with a nice border using a felt then fill in the
details with a colored pencil. Add some more on the inside, continue on the
rose with green leaves on the outside. There are no rules! Have fun and be
creative!
